With a total length of 1258m, the main bridge is 928m long and 18m wide with a net height of 14.5m. The sidewalks on two sides are 1.5m wide each while the piers of main bridge are 53-64m deep, which is the domestic bridge with the longest piers. The upper bridge adopted 915m V-shape pier and prestressed continuous steel structure in each module. This is the longest module in China. The lower bridge adopted high pile platform, flexible steel pipe pile and anchor pile built-in rock stratum structure. It was the first application in China. The steel pipe concrete pier is installed by “piling technology”, which is a new technology first applied in China.
