Binzhou Yellow River Bridge



It was the first ultra-large rail-cum-road bridge spanning over the Yellow River, which was the first BOT program in railway industry in China. It is an important part of Bingang Railway, as well as an integral part of traffic network of Rim-Bohai Bay Economic Circle under the plan. With a total length of 7000m, the main bridge is as long as 2,700m, which was built with 12000 tons of steel. The main span adopted continuous steel truss girders with five spans in each module, whose single span is as wide as 180m, creating the record of largest span for similar bridges in Asia.
