It was the longest single-track railway bridge over Yellow River in Asia in 1990s, with the total length of 10.28km. The first passing station in China was built on the bridge. Non-standard panel length of 12m was firstly used for the main span steel girders. It was rewarded the Silver Prize of National Quality Engineering Awards in 1989 and  Bronze Prize of National Outstanding Design Awards.
