It is the first high-speed railway with designed speed of 350km/h in China, which technical standards and operating safety level are unprecedented. BRDI took part in the section from Shaoguan to Huadu in Guangdong Province, where has complicated geological landform and lush vegetation. The newly-built tunnels in this section range 51.862km, all of which are single-cave double-rail tunnels, taking up 32.57% of the entire railway.
