Located in the central south of Henan Province, Mengmiao-Pingdingshan West Railway starts from Luohe City in the east, extends to Mengmiao Station of Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, runs through Peicheng to the east, and enters Xuchang City, goes through Jiangzhuang, Dingying, Qiannie and then enters Pingdingshan City. It runs to Baofeng County through Pingdingshan City, and reaches Pingdingshan West Station by connection with Jiaozuo-Liuzhou Railway. The existed railway is 99.325km, which is an important coal-transport channel for the central south of Henan Province. It is a national Level I railway with total investment of 2.96 billion RMB.
