Rama VIII Bridge of Thailand



It is the longest asymmetric triple-plane single-pylon cable-stayed bridge in the world so far, whose main girder is in 300m-long steel concrete composite structure. With inverted Y shape, the main pylon is as tall as 174.38m. The main bridge is as long as 475m with dual 4-lane. BRDI designed and reviewed the bridge as an independent third party according to British B5 standards.
