The space structural planning for central urban area: “Two rivers and three towns are built with focus on Longhu Lake”. “Focus on Longhu Lake”: Taking Longhu Lake ecological area as the base to build the ecological lung for the city, and take it as the important strategic reserve area for future urban development. “Two rivers and three cities”: Build three major urban areas —“Jiangnan Urban Area, Longhu New Town and Jiangbei New Town” along the axis of “Yangtze River, Qingyi River-Zhanghe River” and create prosperity for two banks by driving development across the river. “Two belts and two shafts” are built for the city, in which “two belts” refer to the north riverside belt and south riverside belt, while “two shafts” refer to main development shaft of Wuxuan Town and secondary development shaft of Chaohuang Town.
