It is the first independently-anchored suspension bridge over Songhua River, which starts from Songjiang East Road in the west and reaches Binjiang East Road in the east with a total length of 991m, width of 32m and height of main tower of 54m. The independently-anchored concrete suspension bridge (main bridge spanning the river) is as long as 356m with 534m approach bridges on two sides.
