Xiling Yangtze River Bridge



Known as “the first span in China”, Xiling Yangtze River Bridge is the first cross-river suspension bridge adopting steel box girders in China, which is located at 4.5km to the downstream of the axis of Three Gorges Dam. With a main span of 900m, it was open to traffic in 1996. The bridge was rewarded The Luban Prize for Construction Project.
