It is a triple-pylon suspension bridge with largest span in the world, where the double-span continuous tower-girder consolidated structural system was firstly adopted. With a total length of 36.29km, the dual 6-lane highway is 33m wide with the designed speed of 100km/h. The main bridge is in (2×1080)m triple-pylon double-span suspension structure. Flat streamlined steel box girders were adopted for the main girder. The central pylon is in steel concrete composite structure. Caisson foundation is used for anchorage.
