Yichang Wujiagang Yangtze River Bridge



Located about 6.1km to the upstream of Yichang Yangtze River Bridge, it starts from Jiangcheng Avenue in the south and ends at Huaxi Road after spanning through Tan’ai Road, Binjiang Road, Changjiang Road and Wulin Road with the total length of 2.813km.  Adopted the steel box girder suspension structure with a main span of 1160m for the main bridge, it is as wide as 31.5m and spans Yangtze River with only one span. The approach bridges at two sides are constructed by prestressed concrete girders with the diameter of 30m to 40m. The bridge is as wide as 25.5m. It starts from the overpass in Jiangcheng Avenue and ends at the overpass in Wulin Road. The whole bridge is built by the standards of urban expressway and dual 6-lane with designed speed of 80km/h.
